New artificial intelligence tutor available to Iowa elementary schools


IOWA (KIWA) – The digital avatar named “Amira” is a web based, interactive studying tutor that can be utilized in all Iowa elementary schools.

In accordance to KIWA Radio, the Iowa Division of Schooling used pandemic aid cash to purchase entry to the app for this college 12 months.

Amira is designed to reply when college students battle with phrases whereas studying aloud.

All private and non-private elementary schools within the state can have entry to this system.

KIWA says Iowa Division of Schooling director McKenzie Snow hopes this app will strengthen early literacy instruction in Iowa schools.

The app was developed by Carnegie Mellon College and may monitor every consumer’s progress.
