Artificial intelligence fire sensors deployed on Maui


HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) – Sixteen synthetic intelligence sensors have been deployed to trace wildfires that spark in West and South Maui, mentioned County officers.

The County says its N5 protect program will monitor air circumstances and ship real-time alerts to the Maui Fire Division when it detects any adjustments which will point out flames are spreading.

The system will work with HECO’s AlertWest fire detection digicam system.
