Sumitomo Mitsui plans support avatars via $320m AI investment


TOKYO — Sumitomo Mitsui Monetary Group will make investments 50 billion yen ($320 million) by means of March 2029 to develop a generative AI system that can deal with a variety of duties, together with avatars that reply to buyer inquiries.
